Family Friendly, Close-knit Community

Nonprofit Community Childcare Center

1. We have started the ground work for a place to have the commuity daycare with a backup facility, which their liability insurance would cover the daycare and customers.
2. Contacted a person with knowledge of starting, running a daycare, and set up a nonprofit organization.
3. We have contacted Evenstart to partner with us.

Social services and Assistance to needy families.

1. Looking into bringing in more services to our community.
2. Making sure members of the community know of times and dates that social services events will be taking place.

Racism

1. Looking for ways to ways educate our community on cultural diversity.

Creative Economic Opportunities

Town Clean-Up

1. Helping residents dispose of unwanted cars.
2. To continue community clean-up days.

Improving Self-Image

1. Plan to repair a fence that is on one of our main street in town and paint a mural.
2. Would like to paint all of our local businesses red like we did in the early 1970’s that gained us national recognition in a national newspaper back east.
3. Looking at planting trees and flowers along some of the main streets.

We had a big turn out for our community rally with David Burle! Bovill had 73 people attend and we concluded our community vision.
